i was mainly making this topic to complain about work because we all need to vent about the stress of work
but i left the title open on purpose because maybe you want to vent about your girlfriend...


now this board is not to get out of hand ill just lock it you can talk casually but stay on topic of the vent spacificly

alright have fun releasing those pent up angers that make you want to punch your co worker in the face
or scream at those taxes

And now for my vent/pet peeve/call it what you will:

This "net speak" stuff is getting entirely out of hand. It specifically says in the rules not to do it and I still see it. If I had the time, I would delete every post that doesn't follow this rule. But it would take hours to do and drop some of you that have over 800 posts to 20. I like to think of myself as a reasonable person. I like to think of myself as pretty "open-minded" but this is ridiculous. Some of the new members may say, (for example)"Well Tenser did it on this post, or this post." Sure he did, but that is on .0000001% of his posts, the other 99.9999999% of his posts are insightful and are worth the read. He has already proven his worth to the site, some of you have not so you look foolish, in my opinion (boy it took me sooooo much longer to type that instead of IMO).

I'll leave it at that, take from it what you will. Some may agree, some may not, others may think "The old man is screaming from his porch to get off the lawn".

Whatever. ::)

but really, i agree with the netspeak, yes i am guilty when its lol or brb but for the most part i don't use it. I know of some members who always use it and it irritates me to heck. ><

ok to keep people from being banned keep your comments to your self about sabbys post he is correct its in the rules

and take what he said to heart that what this topic is for
thier is no need to argue with him so just follow the rules and he was not singling anyone out he was adressing everyone because we have all done it so lets all get along

I'm hating all this court stuff
i need to vent about it

i get into a drunken fight
and ended up getting arrested
Ive now got a chance of going jail
which is really annoying me

OK OK the guy looks sore
but do i deserve prison when
you have pedophiles walking around with a tag (curfew)

our justice system is rubbish

things that are annoying me -

- i cant smoke in pubs
- Ive been quite ill lately - and i don't know whats up
- I'm struggling with my rent
- my solicitor keeps looking down my cleavage when I'm talking to him
- my friend copy's everything i do
- my jeans no longer fit as i have put on more pounds
- my day - 11pm - 3pm the next day, because i cant sort my body clock out
- people getting on my back because I'm mancunian living in Liverpool (Liverpool-Manchester hate each other)
- my mum uses me as babysitter
- my hair is dry because of all the hair dye
- my neighbor is always reporting me for being loud, i get reported even if i sneeze in the hallway!

there just little annoying things

i tell ya what annoys me is the fact that my work has me on split days off so i don't even get weekends right now anymore plus the 16 hour days are killing me as well..

I hate neighbors that report you for being loud when you are not

i would get reported all the time and i know what loud neibors sound like i had this lady that stayed above us she would put on music as loud as she could and work out while her kid would jump around screaming for ours at a time so she was pounding on the floor

you know what really grinds my gears
....
my future career of music might not happen because im seeing theres not much progress going on right now. and its so hard because there are so many other people out there who are really talented. and im trying my hardest and i just wish....i dont know that i was the oracle of music :-\

that is like my neighbor
at 5.30am her kid is shouting and banging like a little kid
hes about 12 year old!
and she has tuned all the other neighbors against me

i can see right through her
but the others cant

she studies psychology and is playing head games what i don't like



you should keep at it
if thats your path i will happen
you will always get comedowns
so just keep your chin up :)

hm sounds like a good idea.
i actually havent been playing for a super long time soo i shouldnt be complaining that much.
i think its cuz my friends (who also play jazz) are really skilled and talented (particulary one of them). i think i am jealous deep down inside...well i know i am lol but yeah

oh my god i can not belive the stupidity of some customer

they acctually think this works

you have a credit card with a 50k balance on it and you call up bitching to me saying you never opened this card and even though i let you know that you have had this card since 2005 and the balance is 50k

and this is what he says to me and thinks this will be ok and he acctually yells and screams it at me

THIS IS NOT MY ACCT I DO NOT OWN IT
even though its his bus name and his social and tax id on the acct
THIS ACCT IS NOT MY PROBLEM IT IS YOUR PROBLEM AND I AM NOT GOING TO PAY IT
then he hung up

and he really thinks that if you dont pay a bill with your social on it and a 50k balance that the bank is just going to look the other way

this guys is going to be put in collections so hard and so fast his ass is going to hurt

stupid people... if its not your acct you have to go through the proper channels not just yell its not your acct then hang up

i left school at 13
and ran away to my home city in Manchester
but I'm 20 now and I'm back in Liverpool
agghh whats going on

then again - its one of the best decisions Ive ever made

The M's just lost a heartbreaker to the Angels. I'm still in shock an hour after it ended. Torii Hunter ripped them up today, and then he goes and robs Richie Sexson of a go-ahead home run to end the game.
