Re: controller or the key board
I use the keyboard with it's default settings. I guess I could bring in a controller but like Kong, I guess I've been playing games so long on this site that I've gotten used to it.

Re: controller or the key board
I tend to switch back and forth. When I'm "twitch gaming" with a shooter or what-not I use the keyboard. When I'm relaxing with an RPG or something of the sort I break out the controller so I can lean back and chill.

I use the keyboard. I think my work would be suspicious if I brought in a nintendo controller and hooked it up to my computer!
I know that's the real reason why Sabby uses the keyboard.

Re: controller or the key board
Eventually you find that you grow acustomed to the keyboard. Because I'm right-handed I have better control over the D-Pad (arrow keys)on a keyboard than I would with a controller. Unfortunately the reverse is true with the B-A Buttuns (X-Z). So it ends up that I do really well with shooters and adventures where manueverabilty is the key to success and I can half-mash the attack button. This is also why I could completely own the SMB scores on here with my NES but can't do much at all playing on the keyboard.
Controllers are nice to hook up to the comp for relaxing, but I've yet to find one whose timing is spot on. Maybe its not the controller and instead a slight lag time from my comp?

Re: controller or the key board
Some of the more advanced controllers you may need to install some programs with 9especially flight yokes). Most you can just adjust in your control panel if you're running Winblows.
