Re: NFL
Oh joy, according to ESPN and a newspaper around me Chris Henry (Number 15) is returning to the Bengals Tuesday. 5 arrests and counting... simular to Tenser's NES games beaten.

It suprised me too, Metricus. I thought Farve was going to be with the Packers & would be their starter.
Man! This years full of the unexpected.

Re: NFL
Would that be something if the Packers & Jets make it to the Super Bowl while Farve's still playing?
I'd pay to see that ... IF it happens.

I read the article, Tenser. I liked the part at the end where the reporter wrote & I quote,

Re: NFL
I agree with that list and can understand Philly being placed behind Pittsburgh and Green Bay, but I think that Philly should be at #3 instead of Cleveland. Maybe because I've never lived around Cleveland and don't know many Browns fans, but Philly fans are a breed unto themselves. My mood on Mondays and Tuesdays of Fall weeks is generally determined by how the Eagles fare the previous day.
I also liked that the reporter gave props to Myron Cope. That guy had a gift. Top three sports commentators, in my opinion, listed in order of all time are:
- Howard Cosell
- Myron Cope
- Harry Kalas

Re: NFL
I would like to ask if anyone still has any questions about Pitt's O and D lines? I would say ending the 3rd quarter winning 35 - 3 is evidence enough.

Re: NFL
Gotta say, Patriots are screwed unless Belicheck has another good quarterback.
I did not however watch that game, I am sorrowing over the Bengals, oddly enough I took a nap and woke to Bill Cunningham saying that the Bears are beating the Colts.
Some football season for me.

Re: NFL
I just finished watching Colts vs. Bears. I can't tell, did the Bears win or did the Colts lose?
So this is how the Colts season is going to be. How depressing.

Re: NFL
Its funny how the unexpected happened, Brady gone, Colts getting flattened by the bears. (please tell me Grossman will never play for them again.)
Question is if the Pats can't cut it will the Jets do good? Favre did pretty well from NFL.com when I was looking at the scores. Who's left in that division? The Bills?
@Video: Your like a half hour late. O_o From what I understand the Bears just completely flattened them, they might have a repeat of two years ago.

Re: NFL
I think Chicago has decided to stay with Orton. Orton did everything Chicago wanted him to which isn't much. Just complete over 50% of your passes and make no turnovers.
Indi didn't take this game serious enough. That mixed with Addai and Clark getting injured caused them to lose.
Also, Favre really didn't show any promise in the Green East. To barely squeeze out over the Phins? Please...
All in all a great first week. Pretty boy out for the season, Pitt stompin' Houston, Bungels and Clowns going down. Very nice. ;D

Re: NFL
With the injury to Brady, the Bills are going to win the division. They aren't great, but I can see them winning 10 or 11 games due to a soft schedule. They beat my Hawks, but they were already missing their top two receivers and lost their third in the game. Factor in Matt Hasselbeck's lack of reps in the preseason and a couple of cheap special teams scores, and the score ends up being far more lopsided than it should have been. Still, they played well enough to win the game.
