Re: NFL
Um I don't really see how you can make the argument that the Steelers aren't the favorite to win the AFC North. The Browns might give them a little trouble, but the Bengals and Ravens shouldn't be a factor. A first round bye might be a bit ambitious considering they play in the same conference as the Chargers, Colts and Pats. You never know though.

but now you guys don't have alan fanica. or how hever you spell it. that line just got worst. and a first round bye? Pfft. have you seen there schedule?
|
Yes I have. Rated the most difficult schedule this year. I like a more difficult schedule. It'll keep them in that underdog mindset and they tend to play down to the easy teams.
Yes we lost Faneca, he was past his prime but it still hurt. But with a much younger Timmons taking his spot it's not that bad. Plus we upgraded 3 out of the other 4 spots on the line do to healthy starters.
We made it to the playffs last year and we are a MUCH better team this year than last. Ben put up amazing numbers last year and looks better in camp this year than last. An even stronger receiving and running core and both of our starting safeties Clark and Polamalu healthy.

Re: NFL
Yes you guy made the playoffs. but the jags beat you down. and for the eagles. we were one of the hottest teams at the end of last year and remember two years ago when we won 6 straight games and 3 straight on the road in the division? with a back up QB.

I don't know if you caught the game but that starting offensive line of ours fared pretty easily against you I'd say.

pennington's had multiple THROWING arm injuries. he can barely throw the ball 40 yards. he's been the laughingstock of ESPN for the past three years.

Could be worse. Could you imagine being the third string behind Kitna. Not even good enough to be Kitna's backup.

Re: NFL
Two points I want to make:
1) Another bold prediction: Chad Pennington will be a big help to the Dolphins. They might actually win games now.
2) John Kitna should've put his money where his mouth is instead of making bold predictions that aren't going to happen like he did last year.

1. its a toss-up with pennington. he will either help or hurt. no in between.
2. you are absolutely right about kitna.

Re: NFL
Pennington isn't a bad Q, even with his lack of arm strength. I blame the Jets' poor ability mostly on its coaching staff and front office.

Re: NFL
Another bold prediction (Oh, no! Not another one! Yes! Another one!):
---------------------------------------------------------------------
If the Colts can stay healthy this year, they'll have another deep run in the playoffs this year.
Their chances are looking grim as it is without Marvin Harrison, who might not play this season.

Re: NFL
i think the vikings have a shot at the playoffs this year.if adrian peterson keeps running like he did last year and tarvaris jackson throws with more confidence, they may make the playoffs. they wont go far, but at least they will be there.

A lot of Clowns fans in the house I see. I do hope you're right about it being a good year. Some competition for the AFCN would keep things interesting. Jailbirds and Bungles wont be offering any this year.
I just hope the Cleveland Steamers' penchant for drafting thugs and prima donas doesn't hurt you too much this year.
