No he's dating Jessica Simpsom.
Btw, now that Farve ain't with the Packers no more, and Brady is out for the season the Cowboys are a sure fire for the Super Bowl.

Are you referring to Tony Romo? Because he dated Simpson last year and heard nothing of a break up.

Quite a bold statement considering they haven't managed to win a playoff game since Romo and T.O. have been together. Let's hold off on buying those tickets to Tampa until after this Monday night.
Also, I don't understand how Brady being injured will have anything to do with helping the 'Boys get to the big one.

Especially when Romo will find his head 20 yards further back after meeting the Pittsburgh D.

Re: NFL
I didn't get to see any football today (I went to check on my mom to see how she's doing).
But I did get to see the Steelers beat the Cleveland Bozos tonight. Geez, the Browns don't have anything this year. Nothing at all.

Re: NFL
I would consider Edwards and Winslow weapons and J. Lewis still runs as hard as any back in the league. They've played two of what I'd consider the top five defenses in the league back to back weeks. With the AFC appearing to become more and more wide open the last two weeks I think they could challenge for a wild card spot.
T-minus 20 hours until MNF. It feels like Christmas. ;D

"We are inches away from beating these guys," Browns tight end Kellen Winslow said. "Big Ben just comes up with something every time. They are the best defense in the NFL. They are great, not good. We just want to win the division and to do that, we have to beat those guys."

Man I really hope the patriots take it all the way without Brady so you haters can more.
Not that I really like sports or anything. It's just funny to see grown men cry over other grown men.
It's all in good fun though. You guys don't seem obsessed. I know some people who take it way too seriously.

The 60 mph winds are the only thing the kept the game close. The Browns have NO weapons.
Edwards has bad hands. Also has a tendancy to spout off to the media. Promised 17 TDs this season hasn't even gotten one yet.
Winslow has trouble running the right route.
Lewis is old. 40 yards rushing is NOT a weapon.
A QB who tries to force the ball causing him to throw more ints than tds.
We've won the last 10 games against the Stains. The last 16 out of 17 IN Cleveland and the last 23 our of 26 in Pitt.[br] Posted on: September 15, 2008, 03:41:50 PM_________________________________________________I was also going to make fun of Cincin's offense when it imploded this year but I haven't seen them show up yet to actually implode.

I did. Like the reps, I have no idea how that play should be called.
What would happen if the Cowboys had pick the ball up, & ran it back? I'm with Tony Cornheiser on this one. He said,

The Cowboys didn't pick it up, because they had no idea anyone can be that stupid.

Re: NFL
An Eagles player was running the ball all the way to the endzone, but he dropped the ball & started celebrating at the one yard line. The reps originally called it a touchdown (easy mistake to make since no one would expect any player to be that stupid), but they overturned it & called it a fumble. If the Cowboys had known it was still (if even for a second) a live ball, they would've recovered it & who knows what would've happened then. The Eagles scored anyway on the next play so it's no longer a big deal to me.

Re: NFL
Someone give that Eagle a bonus! ;D
Man, football players are dumb as hell. I remember during a playoff game a couple years ago, Champ Bailey intercepted a pass in the Broncos' own end zone and ran it back almost to the end zone, but he slowed to a jog at about the 10 yard line, assuming no one was chasing him. Some defensive dude nailed him from the side and forced a fumble and if I recall correctly, injuring Champ Bailey. It blows my mind that dudes don't finish plays...
I miss Barry Sanders...

Amen to that. Who knows what the record for rushing yards in a career would be if Barry stayed in the league a few more years.
Oh and did I mention that the Raiders suck!! If Seen-Al (play on senile) Davis fires Kiffin, he's more of a fool than anyone realizes. SOMEONE GET MY TEAM OUT OF THE EIGHTIES PLEASE!!!!!

Re: NFL
Since Tails isn't doing his NFL gambling thread any longer I'm starting mine.
Welcome to Big Papi TenTen's Bookie Service!
You may bet points with me against any game that I post the spread for. Just like a real bookie I'll take a vig or 10% as well.
What's a vig the non-gamblers here ask? Well if you bet 1k points on the Raiders and they cover the spread I'll give you 1k. But if they don't cover you will have to pay me 1.1k or basically what you bet +10%
I will also except "lightnings". A lightning is where you don't just bet to win but you bet a certain amount for every point over the spread they win or lose by.
Lastly I will also except "teasers". A teaser is when you bet on a total of three teams. All three teams have to come in for you to win but you get to move the line three points in your favor. You can move one game all three points or split the three anyway you want between the three games.
All wagers must be announced the day before the game.
Feel free to ask any questions.
The lines for this weekend:
Home (+/-) Away
Sunday
Atl -4.5 KC
Buff -9 Oak
Tenn -5 Hou
NYG -13 Cin
Wash -3 Arz
NE -12.5 Mia
Chi -3 TB
Min -3.5 Car
Sea -9.5 StL
SF -4 Det
Den -5 NO
Phi -3.5 Pitt
Indi -5.5 Jac
Bal -2 Cle
GB +3 Dal
Monday
SD -9 NYJ

Fun fact, when I was a young'n Barry was my favorite player. The Lions were coming to KC to play the Chiefs, and my old man got tickets. Then he retired...
So that was awesome.

Re: NFL
8 sacks on Roesthlisberger (spelling is wrong) I watched the game, the Eagles defense was good, there were like out of 10 plays 6 were sacks 2 were incomplete and 2 were completed.
Bengals suck, Patriots losing to the Dolphins.. who expected that? Colt going down to 1-2..
zThis year is a very wild one at best.

Appearently, the Eagles are better than I thought, but it's just a little bit.
