If I were to come across people that would like to be a part of the team, would there be any objections to it? Our ultimate destination is to get this baby running like a fine-tuned oiled machine again. I know I just got back but i still wanna see our home run smooth still or " again " . Not much submissions going on but the ones I do see are lurking about still that need some observation, I got a few that need clearance too....lol. How does everyone feel about getting some new faces in the family? We all know theres a final say so to the ordeal but I also love comments and feedback.

I would be weary of just adding anyone. Some major damage can happen in the wrong hands.

I agree with Tails, unless the person has a record here at the site, I wouldn't hand over the keys. That being said, if Kong has a secure setup where he can customize permissions, it might be okay.

People....lol I know how the process goes...I think WE ALL know better than handing the keys to just " Anybody " as well. Definitely someone with experience ( preferably ) On this site. Just wanted to see where YALL stood on having some new blood come in.

Experience on this site you say?

Hahah nah, I'm joshin'. I think it would be good to add some (trusted) new blood to the site to even out the workload and get things running smoothly, kick up some new activity.

Mods shouldn't be too much of a long term regular. Us really old folk just don't have the ambition that the kids do.

This is exactly me at the moment. My apologies to the RU community, but I just don't have it in me anymore, not right now anyway. I don't even PLAY games anymore, much less have the motivation to login and WATCH games. At some point, though, I WILL be back.

I think they need some public posts - preferably here but if they have a track record somewhere else then that is good enough.

But also should have some scores posted here too so they have gone through the process as a player before being a mod.

Absolutely, I definitely wouldn't throw anyone to the wolves. That calls for some stuff to get easily misunderstood and could screw some stuff up as well. I just want to keep dishing out my love and loyalty for the site, i absolutely want to be " One of those " that will have his hand in here to keep the ship afloat! i love this place, It's literally my home away from home, And the people here are great!
