I have always said that the show was one of the great ones on T.V. I waited along time to see if they would ever bring it back on but no they never did.

There was definitely a great show there that was cut long before it should have.

Re: dead celebrities

Just to clarify the show was Canadian. Although it did have some success in the US.

"There was definitely a great show there that was cut long before it should have."

It's first season was in 1979. and last official show was in 1990. 11 years is a great run for any show.

Barth : "Duh, I heard that."
Always cracked me up.

Sorry to hear that Les Lye passed on.

That's true of the brothers in the family for sure. Both John F Kennedy and Robert Kennedy were assassinated when they were in office.

Thanks for mentioning that Timber. I was going to mention something about him myself, but I forgot to. He was amazing! What a genius pioneer. He will be missed for sure.

I didn't like Travis Barker or Blink 182 but it's always sad when a young person dies for such a stupid reason.

Re: dead celebrities

DJ Am got a second chance on life after the crash and he pissed it away on drugs. I feel nothing for him.

John Hughes (writer/director) -- Dead.

Heart Attack. Died August 6, 2009. Born February 18, 1950. He directed and/or wrote such '80s hit films as The Breakfast Club, Weird Science, Sixteen Candles, Home Alone and Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

I agree..and John Hughes was the 80's. Everything he touched turned to gold and is a staple of the time. I was sad to hear he died

Its one of my favorite songs. I like the theme. Its a dark song but it also brings in a little hope mixed in it. Plus like the song says I hope I go "naturally"

Thats a great place for MJ... He now gets to reside in the final resting place where Walt Disney and Larry Fine are buried.

Very cool EXPENSIVE company lol. Forest Lawn is the only cemetery I know of that has 24 hour security that isnt a federal cemetery, I KNOW it costs a pretty penny to get baried there. I like the location because its very private. Hopefully this will keep fools from trying to grave rob or disturb his resting place.

What did they do with him for 70 days.

Having to hire security guards after you are dead is a bit silly.

Im pretty sure they just had him in a morgue @ the cemetery. And the guards are for the cemetery as a whole. There are a lot of famous people baried there and the families will pay for the extra security and privacy Forest Lawn provides. They know theres crazies out there that would disturb the grave or steal the headstones if they got the chance.

I dont think they had tickets to this event. It was for family and close friends only.
The only event that had tickets was the public memorial and they gave those away
