Re: dead celebrities
eh...Should we give credit to d-list celebs? The dude had one big role (Grease) and then proceeded to make a fool of himself on some reality show. I have little tolerance for celebs that die due to substance abuse. You have the way and means to get yourself treatment and help.

I really couldn't care less about Grease (I think it's one of the worst musicals ever made). However, I watched him in Babylon 5, and I think he did a decent job there. I agree that alot of guys (i.e. Charlie Sheen) use their addictions as a tool to more press, but I really think Conaway wanted to beat his habits, and just couldn't do it. It makes me a bit sad.

What about Taxi? I barely watched any of the stuff he was on but I distinctly remember him from that. Either way it's sad how his life ended up. He kinda looked like Gary Busey near the end.

Re: dead celebrities
Maybe we should start posting something that tells us about the person. I thought I never heard of this guy until I clicked the link. That is a tragic loss. He was only 62, but honestly he looks older. Must be the drugs.

Yeah he was on drugs really bad in his later years. Its said he started them in the 90's and never really got off until a few years ago. Its a shame since he has made some of my favorite songs of all times.
I think that posting a little description about the person that died would be a good idea. I know not everyone on here has heard of every celebrity that has died.

Re: dead celebrities
Jokes aside the guy didn't actually love death or dieing. He believed that people should have the choice to end their life if they wanted to. I agree with him. Also I think he only helped people who were terminal and no one who was just depressed.

That's too bad he seemed like a cool guy. Btw that article you linked picked two horrible pictures to show who he is, good thing I already knew.

Re: dead celebrities
Thought the same thing, I'm suprisingly bummed out about this for some strange reason. I suppose it's cause him dying pretty much destroys all of the jackass crew, it won't be the same without him.
---------- Post added at 08:33 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:27 PM ----------
He might have been drunk driving apparently.

And I'm just learning that it might have been a hoax...

If they faked it for some stupid reason then lots of people will be unhappy. Not a funny thing to joke about.

Re: dead celebrities
Everything about the story sounds fishy, "he was identified by his facial hair and tattos" from the original story, after seeing the charred skeleton of his car, his facial hair and tattoo's would have been long gone. Also for some reason April Margera's name continues to come up in all the stories I read, that seems weird to me.
In all honesty, I'm not confident, but I don't think he is dead.

Re: dead celebrities
Peter Falk, also known as Columbo, died today at 83. I wasn't the biggest fan of the show but he was an icon. He was also the narrator of The Princess Bride, also iconic.
