Difficult time connecting, I would say.
It's always been an issue for me, I wasn't exposed to the people in the outside world until I was five, and everyone knew each other from pre-school or whatever. I knew no one, and hadn't formed any social skills up until that point, and even then, being the outsider made things more difficult. When you start out without friends, making friends is a challenge. I wouldn't say I am totally beyond all hope, but it doesn't look good for my future. Ah well, the balance is somewhat fine with me, that is the balance of people not liking me, and me not liking them.

He was a great teacher in the guise of a comedian, and I remember listening to his {edited} routines on the radio back in the 80's.

The last performance {that I saw} was a HBO special where he dropped so many truth - bombs, I got the impression he knew it didn't matter if he got in trouble for saying those things; he knew his time was near.

Lena Horne died on May 9. She was a talented actress, singer, and activist. She was 92. I remember growing up listening to her music and watching the movies she appeared in.

She had a good long life, but she was a rare talent for sure.
