By the way... check this video of my tactics with the last planet, "snake". I couldn't complete it until I discovered this weird tactics. It worked for me. That last snake planet is very tough on invisible.

Yeah. It was way ahead of its time back in 1982. It requires a longish learning phase. That's a real "player's game". It's all about skill and controls. I love it.

Have you tried AAE vector emulator? Gravitar and all vector games look best on that one (save the real vector monitor of course). MAME has the new HLSL technique which improved the vector games but AAE is still the best. I have AAE and all the goodies... I can send it over if you want to take a look.

Hmm... could be.

I think MAME plays all vector games about 3% too fast. It's just a "gut feeling", nothing concrete. I used to play them all religiously when I was a kid. But then again maybe it's just that my reactions have gotten slower.

PS: You had very good score on Gravitar. Respect. Not so many people have skills to master it. It's probably my all time favorite arcade machine.
