I don't know what it was, but I only noticed the 'similar threads' links today and that's how I found your ED thread.
For the record I am an ENORMOUS fan of Bruce Campbell and the Raimi brothers, as well as most of the productions they have been involved in.
(are there any bad ones?)

It's been a long long time, but I think I got about half way through it. I didn't find it that hard, though the controls were kind of wonky.

I have the game and find it to be almost too hard to play.
Every time, I end up with more zombies than hit points somehow.
