I would be the main man putting the smack down on the classic MK games. But I don't need to prove my high tier MK skills anymore since I achieved them on here already.

It's cheaper and easier to just declare yourself the winner and not go.
I get it.

I don't know of anybody that's gotten higher scores or faster speedruns fair and square than me at the classic MK arcade games in the USA. If there were I don't know why their not going to some of the gaming record sites to show their skills. I've seen the results from similar contests over the years time after time and have yet to see anything higher scoring and or faster than what I achieved years ago when I used to go to contests back in the 90's and early 00's.

They're probably all busy practicing from Kombat Kon. Not a lot of speedrunning there.

Most of the people going will probably be playing Vs. mode against other people on the newest Mortal Kombat X game. I usually only go for the MK1 points record and trying to get the fastest completion on MK2. For Vs. mode fighting against real people I only play MK1 once in a while. The best known Vs. mode player from the USA I know of from tournaments on the Coin-Op MK1 and MK2 is Rocky Rose. Fabio Manfredini from Brazil is one of the best as well against the CPU or real people on the classic MK games. It's weird that he never accepted the challenge of coming onto RU and beating my Coin-Op MK records. Hopefully he's not an .INP hacker/cheater. I know for a fact that Triforce didn't get that 24.8 million MK1 score years ago without going out of the rules to get it because his MK1 skills are worse than yours Kombat King.

So there wouldn't be any "smack down" from you then. Thought so.

Well if you're intention is to get me mad on here you're all wasting you're time. It just shows how low class you are when you try to make other people look bad when they did nothing to you. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

Hello MK Wizard,
Someone posting links about your past behavior is not a reportable offense. If you did not want people bringing it up, you should not have cheated in the first place. Please refrain from wasting my time like that in the future.
Happy gaming!

Nobody jumped on you until you derailed the thread to accuse two people of cheating:

Having many questionable scores in the TG database was the main reason I didn't want to be a part of their site anymore. That's why I went for the score removal and ban from the site option on TG. Triforce's questionable Arcade MK1 score was the main score on TG I didn't like. There were other people that were questioning it besides me after a supposed witness named Dave Landrus contacted me and other TG members years ago. Fabio I still wonder about because he basically did max out scores in such a short amount of time on different MK titles. Than I mentioned something to him about playing 4 rounds instead of the usual 3 rounds per match and he got almost a maxed out one of those done in such a short amount of time again. Getting those types of runs I believe are as hard as the Donkey Kong world record or harder. I'm really good at some of the MK games and couldn't match what he got. So it's only normal to question if Fabio hacked the .INP files from his runs. Some of my MK runs people had questioned in the past too. That's why I came to RU to prove I can really do it for real. This site is a great proving ground. That's why I wanted Fabio to come here and get a similar run to see if his skills were as high as they were in his MAME MK performances outside of RU. He declined the challenge so far. Triforce turned down numerous challenges for a replay on WolfMAME or a camcorder replay of the Arcade MK1 performance with or without Reptile years ago and I came to the conclusion that if he in fact did get the score he claimed he must of broke the Ruby and Diamond blocks which in a normal run you don't have access to breaking for the extra points. But going back to the supposed witness saying he saw Triforce after hours beating away on another Vs. mode player over and over again instead of playing against the CPU the whole time until he got up to certain amount of points makes me wonder what really happened that night at Funspot in the dark on an Arcade cabinet with damaged joysticks? Did they cheat? Maybe they did. Did they turn down replaying their runs to prove their high skills? Yes they did so far. Is RU better than TG for proving you're gaming skills. Absolutely without a doubt.

TLDR. Don't care.
Broken record.

For those who are thinking of going, it's the blast! I attended this event in 2014 and 2015. I got autographs and photos with the cast members of the game.
Many people I met know through the MK community allways show up. The staff at Galloping Ghost arcade are the coolest people, and the arcade itself is awesome. It's a good time.

That's mainly what these events are for is for the social aspect and having friendly competition. There was usually some people that got pretty pissed off when they lost though. When I was 16 back in 1993 I beat this 20 some year old guy out in a points contest on MK1 at the Mall of America and he spit on the arcade screen I played on and flicked me off with both of his hands. Some of the arcade staff kicked him out of the arcade for at least the rest of that day. That was the worst I ever saw in person before. Much worse has happened especially at some of the older Street Fighter 2 tournaments.

Re: Kombat Kon
I figured all of these years the ruby and diamond blocks were used to jump Triforce's Arcade MK1 24.8 million score up easier than normal. I got a 24.0 million score on the MAME MK1 years ago without the ruby and diamond blocks due to stricter rules on TG for the MAME variation not allowing your character to lose at all without it being the end of the record run and not being able to play vs. mode matches against another human player. So I wondered what was really going on with his score since I got all of the bonus points in my run and my point total was 800,000 points lower. He basically admitted to breaking the ruby and diamond blocks to boost his score up 2.7 million more in the below thread. It doesn't state in the ruleset that you can't break ruby and diamond blocks. So technically because of TG's Arcade MK1 ruleset it's not cheating. Even though you have to play at least 10 vs. mode matches against another person for the blocks to shift forward to make it possible to break ruby and diamond blocks. I have some WolfMAME .135 .INP's getting 16.0 million without Reptile and 27.0 million with Reptile now with the ruby and diamond blocks broke too. I'm sorry for the cheating accusations too earlier in this thread and where ever else on the internet to Triforce and Fabio Manfredini.
