Or it looked like another protester trying to get on the stage to make a statement, they do that from time to time. The crowd had no way of knowing his intention but they still turned into a feral mob just like other Trump rallies where people are being sucker punched, stomped on the ground, screamed at and pushed around for protesting. No honest person can say Trump rallies are peaceful and non violent at this point, especially with Trump standing up there encouraging it.

Btw I just checked and that guy is only being charged with entering a restricted area. No weapons, no secret plans to hurt Trump, ect ect. Seems like he just wanted attention. Good thing the secret service got a hold of him before the mob tore him to pieces.

Am I naive in thinking that Trump's presidency won't be as destructive to the US as people are assuming? I didn't vote him and I definitely don't want him to be president but I'm not buying all the hysteria that the US is doomed now. IDK though, maybe I'm just uninformed/dumb. I get what you're saying, and it's possibly true. It's not great. I think there is no conceivable way it's good. The doom and gloom?
