Did you look at that site? Seems like it has some directions on a way it can be turned into a USB controller.

Do you mean to make a Nintendo joystick from scratch that works on the PC, or convert an existing Nintendo joystick to work with PC?

Yes I am a programmer. I just deal with application programming mostly with business software. I know what you mean about new games being less fun. I greatly enjoy these classics much more.
