Do you own the game, or just rented it back in the day? I'll probably get to giving it a second go tomorrow. Maybe tonight, but pvr'ed hockey game starting at 11 will keep me up late enough anyways.

I mostly played 2 player, I just remember how awesome it was wind your way through a dozen cars, and blast out the other side of the jumble unscathed. I think I beat it... or played it till it looped... 46 tracks...? Sorry man it's all a blur.

Even on the amateur difficulty? Makes me wonder what the different difficulties are for. I guess you liked 2 over 3000 for the difficulty? Not that 3000 isn't difficult. Guess just a Lot changed from the two.

I don't remember the fuel... it might just be that you need to finish before the notification pops up? As far as getting first, I think you need to do the course perfectly, without hitting the break or laying off the accelerator at all.

yeah, apparently. Well some things I'm noticing specifically are that I thought there wasn't any gas in this game, because I wasn't seeing any means of refueling like in 3000 where you drive over the red mats. Then suddenly 10 levels in, I get a fuel low notification. So... Uh, where do you get fuel? That & I can't catch first place for the life of me on the first few levels, on Amateur, while not crashing into anything.

I find things don't pop out as much in this one either, in 3000, you could collect money on the road, there'd be boosters and jumps, but they really stood out. In this one, they just aren't as colourful or something. It's nothing to do with speed. The game's fast, but not as fast as 3000.

Sweet, good score. I really don't remember any strategy, other than collect the dollar signs at all costs.

So, I saw Top Gear 2, and bought it the other day. From what I remember you were an expert at the game. I've learned pretty much everything there is to learn about 3000, and mastered it, but what's some things to know for Top Gear 2. Seems quite a different, also still not as good as 3000. :P I'd played it before, just not in depth. It's fun for sure though.
