Yeah the bots are usually retarded. That being said though, if you don't buy rez you don't see when people are dead unless you actually see the body or see the text saying they died. When you buy rez it shows the persons name on your screen and where they are.
You can get away without a tree but it does save your life sometimes. If you're bleeding out or low on health, ect.
I haven't bought the Tree of Life or Resurrect once yet. I don't know why, I just see 6 million trees sitting over the map as it is always and no need to ever revive anyone that I've seen. Then again I am in bot matches where they're stupid enough to put 2 trees side by side for example haha.
That's not a terrible set up but it's not one you'd see most people using with human. Summon is good but for humans and trolls it's a good amount of valuable essence being locked out(really bad with troll). Same with strangle.
Smartlink is ok if you need help getting used to aiming but almost everyone hates it and will not be fond of you for using it. It's seen as cheap and easy to abuse. With a ranged weapon it seems to really annoy people because it's supposed to be a skill shot. The only exception seems to be a troll or a dwarf with a mingun. SL makes it so you can never hit your own team so it comes in really handy with that leadhose.
Btw people also hate enhanced vision but usually SL and body clearing set people off the most. Just to give you fair warning. Buy rez and tree, people will like you.
lol yeah, kinda figured you did. My setup lately has been Rifle+Summon+Teleport+The thing that makes you aim better and zoom and I play as a human. Seems to work well and I usually use the shotgun but I've been trying other things. Sound like a good setup?
Also, I can't stay up much later tonight either, I still have Bowling at 9 in the morning on Saturday's so yeah. latest I'll be on today is probably 11 which is 2 Am your time lol. Sure it won't be an issue. I'd guess that I'm going to be on again in a couple of hours but I got off for now.
