IGBY2 Game selection

[T to the C]

Super Contra and Vapor Trail

(Honorable Mentions) Others:

Total Carnage
Xybots
Alien Syndrome
Sly Spy/ Sercret Agent
Tiger Heli
Outzone

[krehztim]

Seriously I'm fine with whatever. If I had to pick a sort of obscure maze game, it'd be Changes. I think Sawys has HS right now. Just no Crazy Climber. I'll shoot myself in the face. I know it's not a maze game, I just hate it.

[DJWheels]

Mr Do's Wild Ride

[QAOP Spaceman]

Team RU members,

We have have just over a week to go before we need to send our selections to the committee or the board or whatever they're called.

We've asked for one selection per player, and that request has so far yielded;

Turbo Out Run - Arcade/Coin-Op

Mr. Do!'s Wild Ride - Arcade/Coin-Op
DoDonPachi - Arcade/Coin-Op

Triple Punch - Arcade/Coin-Op

Super Contra » Coin Op

Grand Cross - Arcade/Coin-Op

Changes » Coin Op

That's 7 games. We have 14 players. If you haven't nominated a game yet please do so. Given that this is a public thread, we need to give the other teams as much time to practice these games as possible. Err... is this right?

So let's have them.

For reference, the similarly public spirited folks at dkf are making their selections viewable to their sworn deadly enemies at:
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1lS-...ewform?c=0&w=1

Some really nice games in that list. And Donkey Kong 3.

The Marpers, the TGers, the AtariAge-HighScorers, the Aussies, the GameExers, the Chigagolanders and New Jerseyer (and hopefully the ArcadeSpainers and CAGDCers too) are keeping things undeer wraps, but any espionage is welcome and encouraged.

[Wolf]

DoDonPachi - Arcade/Coin-Op

not the one i picked

[krehztim]

Of course DK3. Shocker.

Hello everyone.

My first choice would be Space Harrier.
Space Harrier - Arcade/Coin-Op

- Others:

Flying Shark - Flying Shark - Arcade/Coin-Op
Vs. Excitebike - Vs Excitebike - Arcade/Coin-Op
Jump Bug - Jump Bug - Arcade/Coin-Op
Sasuke vs. Commander - Sasuke vs Commander - Arcade/Coin-Op
Viewpoint - Viewpoint - Arcade/Coin-Op
Missile Command - Missile Command - Arcade/Coin-Op

[ZedIsDead]

I'm disappointed that Flying Shark does not, in fact, feature a flying shark. I sure hope someone got fired for that blunder.

[Wolf]

lol those lying bastards i hope people got fired for that mistake

It follows in a long tradition of animal-related disappointment in the video game world.

Either way, it's the one hopefully no one votes for.

I would nominate Jackal. Fun little game.

Im ok with all the other games proposed.

[Kugyince]

Minecraft?

[krehztim]

I'm guessing Team PNS is looking at the platformer "Springer". Both the good Captain and Mr. Schmup King TodayisForgotten have been playing.

No. I don't believe that is even in our poll. Everyone always beats my scores. I felt like it was my duty to do the same for someone else. Muah.

(:

[krehztim]

Oh, I expected to see you slap me around a little. Hard to find a game these days that doesn't have your score at the top. I just thought also seeing the Captain was more than coincidence.

Some good choices in this batch. Alien Syndrome would probably be ruled out for the infinite lives trick, but not necessarily. I'm pretty sure we can agree on a rule for that. Xybots would be awesome.
