There is trouble in the mines! Volcanic activity has trapped numerous miners, and it is your job to save them. As Roderick Hero, you need to make your way through the dangerous mineshaft avoiding the dangerous creatures and lava, and find out where the miners are located before you run out of energy. To help on your mission, Roderick Hero has several useful types of equipment. A prop pack will allow you to hover and fly around the mineshaft and (hopefully) avoid the many dangers within. Your helmet features a short range microlaser beam which can be used to destroy the bats, spiders, snakes, and other creatures you'll encounter in the mines. From time to time, your path through the mine may be blocked by stone or lava walls. You begin each mission with six sticks of dynamite which can be used to destroy these obstacles (be careful you don't blow yourself up, though!) If you run out of dynamite, your laser beam can also be used to destroy the walls, though this will take longer and use up more energy. As the levels progress, the mine shaft will become longer and more maze-like, creatures will more frequently block the path, and lava walls and pools will appear which are dangerous to the touch.

HAL's Hole in One Golf, the first golf game released on the Super NES, uses a non-traditional overhead view of the action. Up to four players are supported for either Stroke, Match or Tournament Play, where you compete against 60 fellow golfers in your pursuit of the Grand Prize trophy. If you'd rather learn the ins-and-outs of the swing meter, choose Practice mode to improve your game. Once you're ready, challenge the HAL Pro in a one-on-one contest to win a special prize: metal clubs. Other notable features include three difficulty levels, the ability to use spin, draw or fade, and an adjustable handicap. A special password will be awarded to those who manage an eagle, albatross or hole-in-one so they can view their shot over and over again.

One day while going out for a walk a company with the initials R.N. destroyed Harry's home. With his trusty hammer he is going to exact some revenge on the company that crushed his home.

At first glance, Hammerlock Wrestling is an average wrestling title featuring 12 fictitious wrestlers, several modes of play (including four-player simultaneous), a somewhat limited number of moves (including special attacks), and a mediocre soundtrack. What sets it apart (in a bad way) is its bizarre split-screen, three-tiered presentation. The middle portion of the screen shows a side view of the ring and the wrestlers, while the top and bottom windows feature animated close-ups of the action. The animations are a cartoon-like treat, but the wrestling itself is limited by the small display.

You are famous singers in this game. You try and collect gold records while dodging reporters, paparazzi and wannabe musicians that want to be in your band. The only way to get rid of everybody is to use your talent of singing. Another twist is that you control both band mates at the same time.

Neck-breaking speeds, tight curves and world-class competition make Sega's Hang On the most exciting motorcycle racing game around. Hop aboard your supercycle and test your racing skill against the top riders on earth! Think you can beat them all to the finish line? Prove it!

How can you resist this little beauty? It's fairly quick, and not too jerky when weaving in and out. Not brilliant but excellent value for those on a budget.

A hangman style word guess game.

The first of the polygon-rendered racing sims, the original coin-up took the arcades by storm. Just about every trick used in today's sophisticated 3D racers can be seen here with the notable exception of texture mapping.

It may look and play rather laughable now, and the Genesis version isn't the best of the various ports, but at least everything's here that I remember from the arcades. Give it a look, if only to see just how far we've come since then.

It's time to hit the hardwood as the crown princes of basketball, The Harlem Globetrotters. Pass, dribble, shoot, and play gags as you try to outscore the Generals in a 5 on 5 competition.

Released in 1996, Harvest Moon is a simulation game where you control a young boy who comes to a town to refurbish his late grandfather's farm. You can grow different crops, raise cattle and sheep, get a horse to ride about town, and even meet, charm, and marry a young girl. Overall, it's a nice, slow-paced title for the SNES that everyone should try.
