| A vertical scrolling shooter vaguely reminiscent of 1942, D-Force has players piloting a helicopter through hostile skies, blasting away at enemy ships, killer birds and other cannon fodder. The cannons, missiles and other weapons are upgradeable via power-ups, and a huge boss awaits players at the end of each of the game's 10 short levels. The action is typical for a game of this type, and the graphics and sounds are about average for an SNES title. What gives the game a shred of uniqueness is a special Exploration Mode, which often puts enemies on a different plane than that of the helicopter. This forces gamers to utilize the L and R buttons in order to adjust the altitude of their craft. Rating: Times Played: 351![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Winnebagel 38,800 |

| Professor Duckbrain has stolen all of Yosemite Sam's movie awards, so our hero gets the job of getting them back and nabbing the bad guys with his trusty bubble gun, while avoiding dynamite-laden booby traps hidden all over Hollywood. Outstanding sound and graphics, but only average gameplay and story. Still, it's one of the best of the Looney Toons games for the Genesis. | Based on Duck Dodgers in the 24 ½ Century, Daffy Duck: The Marvin Missions ably captures the look, sound and attitude of the cartoon. As the title character, players must brave five missions of outer space adventure, using a blaster and other guns (freeze, bomb, antimatter and the like) to blast away at a constant onslaught of alien creatures. Special guns are purchased with money obtained from fallen enemies. In addition, Daffy can execute a super hilarious Nutty Attack, which sends him jumping and bouncing all over the screen, flailing his fists and feet and pummeling anything and everything. The biggest drawback to the game is the annoying, sometimes frustrating way Daffy jumps back every time he fires his gun. Still, this is a game fans of Warner Bros. animation will go loony over. | You play the role of a beautiful young warrior babe in this bloody arcade beat-'em-up whose plot is the typical "I must avenge/attack/defend (fill in the blank here)" storyline. A side-scrolling beat-'em up in the same vein as Golden Axe, but with far fewer moves and smaller graphics. Has a violence content worthy of Hokouto no Ken, and has some of the most original level design to be found in a platform fighter of the day. Its power-up animation sequence is by far superior to most other Golden Axe clones, and it has some rather unique gameplay elements of its own. Easy to learn, difficult to master, well worth the effort. Rating: Times Played: 473![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Dojah 123,200 |

| Dam Busters is an early flight simulation, set in World War II. It focuses on Dam Busters who historically were used to heavily bombard strategic objectives, in this case dams. This task is not easy, as en route you will face heavy opposition forces. Fortunately, you won't be a sitting bomber in the air. Your aircraft is equipped with machine guns (left and right) with unlimited rounds of fire power, so fire at will as the enemy approaches. When the time comes, you will have to bomb the target manually. So, get ready to unload the cargo and give them hell! Rating: Not rated yet Times Played: 301 | |

| Long ago, in the distant land of Moralos, in a time when vast jungles still covered the Earth, an evil presence emerged from its tomb beneath the ground. His name was Gilbas, and he was about to destroy the inhabitants of the land. Aganan, a great warrior, was summoned to save the troubled land and put an end to Gilbas by sealing him in the tome from where it came. Unfortunately, Gilba was successfully resurrected and another warrior, Danan, was called. His quest is to locate the three sacred objects that Aganan used to defeat Gilbas: "The Orb of Light", "The Amulet of Light", and "The Knife of Light". There are about four rounds to complete, and has Danan going through exotic locations defeating enemies such as valkyries, ogres, bees, spiders, and several others. At the end of each round, you come face to face with a boss, which takes quite a number of hits to kill with your sword. Once they are defeated, they are likely to give you one of the objects that you need to defeat Gilbas. More to the story is then revealed. Assisting you with your journey are three animals: an eagle, a monkey, and an armadillo. To get these animals to help you, however, you will need to collect three of their tokens that are found in yellow chests. These animals are quite useful in dangerous situations. The eagle, for example, can get a hold of you and fly you to safety if more than one type of enemy surrounds you. Anyway, you can get these animals to help you at any place, at any time, as long as you have three of its tokens. Yellow chests can also reveal extra strength, extra time, or extra health. The game ends when you run out of time, or when you lose your health, and there are no second chances, unless you manage to find some elixirs, which are rare. | Danny Sullivan, 1988 IndyCar champion and winner of the classic 'Spin & Win' Indianapolis 500 in 1985, put his name to this Super Sprint style racing game. There are 4 cars in each race, 1 or 2 player options 9 tracks to race on, with the Tradewest Speed Bowl the ultimate target, and is much longer but with double points (it's essentially a substitute for the licensed-elsewhere Indianapolis 500). You have limited fuel, and will run slowly if you run out, and the car can be damaged, although both are repairable in the pits. You get a turbo to use sparingly, which can also be recharged in the pits if you've bought more. After each race you get money (slightly more for a higher finish), which can be spent on upgrades such as improved power, brakes or more turbos. Rating: Not rated yet Times Played: 408 | |

| The third in the "Darius" series; fly an ornate fighter craft, Silver Hawk. The craft is equipped with two attack weapons : Missile (forward-firing standard gun) and Bomb (drops from the bottom of the ship). The Silver Hawk is also equipped with the 'Arm' (armor); a green energy shield that can absorb enemy attacks without harm to the ship. Some enemies leave panels behind that can be collected to power-up your shots, missiles or shield.
The graphics and sound are superior to those of the previous Darius games, and the game employs a lot of impressive visual effects; for example, the Silver Hawk warps into a stage dramatically in the fourth-tier stages, and begins to burn on re-entry at the start of the sixth-tier stages.
The bosses are huge and far more complex than those of the previous games, each employing several attack patterns and explode with powerful warping and twisting effects upon their defeat. Rating: Times Played: 408![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Seahawk 3,491,470 |

| An offshoot of side-scrollers Darius and Darius II for the arcades, Darius Twin was the first space shooter for the Super NES to sport two-player simultaneous action. Gameplay is typical for the genre, with players grabbing power-ups, avoiding enemies, and firing lasers at everything that moves. However, there's no hard difficulty level, bosses move in simple patterns, and enemies don't fire as frenetically as they should, making the challenges less strenuous than in most other games of its type (such as Gaiares or Thunder Force III). As with the other games in the series, enemies are modeled after various species of otherworldly fish. The game looks and sounds a lot like Darius II, but it's a bit short, weighing in at 12 zones spread over seven levels with 24 possible paths. Compare this to Darius II, which has 28 zones spread over seven levels with 64 possible paths. Rating: Not rated yet Times Played: 514 | |

| It was a dark and stormy night. On top of the hill, the ominous Dark Castle sat, awaiting its next challenger. You, the intrepid young adventurer, took a deep breath and then walked inside.... Ported from the Commodore 64 original (and it shows!). The graphics are so 8-bit bad as to be pathetic, the classical score is rendered rather lamely given the Genesis hardware, gameplay is obstinately awkward, and the story speaks for itself. The occasional touch of black humor is not enough to save it. Bury this in the cold, hard ground - and leave it there. Rating: Times Played: 336![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Gamenguru 48,400 |
