Eliminate all enemies in each level to advance to the next. Avoid contact with enemies and dragon fire.
Use your pump to inflate or blow up enemies. Partially inflating enemies stuns them during the time it takes them to deflate.
Use the shovel to break off pieces of land by standing at one of the weak points in the land, indicated by dots. Then face the direction you want the break to go, and use the shovel. This technique can be used to eliminate several enemies at once, sending them into the ocean.
Note: The tendency is for the smaller chunk of land to fall off.
