I just saw this movie. It was great, a truly perfect action flick if you ask me. I encourage you all to go see it. Very fun movie.

Okay, this looks like it will be either really awesome, or really bad. It has been released in Japan, but it has yet to be released in the US. When it is, sometime in 2011, chances are I will watch it. It will be straight to DVD.

Piers Anthony and Xanth: what's the holdup, Hollywood?

Since way back in the 1980's, Piers Anthony has written more than 20 novels about the magical World of Xanth: a place where Everyone has a magical talent, where monsters and demons roam free and where a simple pun can either save your life or get it taken.

If you don't know what I'm talking about then you really should look into Xanth novels - but only if you enjoy fantasy settings and silly yet memorable humor.

To give you an example, in one of the novels there was a female Demon whose magical talent was 'Straition'
'I could try to explain it ...' she said, '... but it's better if you see it for yourself.'

In my opinion these novels are a bountiful source of new movie material that would put C.G.I. to the test; re - creating the World of Xanth would be a challenge for any serious filmmaker.
My hopes are on James Rolfe, personally, because of his enormous potential and also his quirky sense of humor which would do this series of novels justice.

So, what do you guys think?
Is it about time for a series of Xanth films, or am I just dreaming?
Personally I would rather have seen them than Harry Potter or even the Lord of the Rings trilogy.

There will be a new series coming to Nickelodeon called Planet Sheen.

Any fans of Jimmy Neutron will most likely like this show. It's going to be released October 2nd, 2010. I'm looking forward to this series. Since there hasnt been much good shows being released on Nick, this looks to be a good series.

Another series based off the movie Kung Fu Panda, is also going to become a show I believe.

Do you think women should have the right to go topless in the same places men can? It used to be legal on the Venice beaches but obviously it was overruled by morality laws. From the article it seems most onlookers were supportive of the cause but some christian protesters showed up and turned it into a heated, pointless debate about sin and indecency.

Other parts of the world have nude beaches and they're doing just fine, why not the US?

Anyone Here Listen To Anime Music?

This is kind of a request thread. I was wondering if anybody on these boards listens to music from anime, and if you do I was wondering if you by chance had the soundtrack from Castle of Cagliostro. I have been looking for it and can not find a way to obtain it, legally or otherwise. So if anyone has it, I would really appreciate an upload of it or something.

If no one has it but people do listen to anime music, I guess this thread can be used to discuss it.
