OK. I am going to rule that the mods will have to pick a game that is similar in play style to Digger ASAP. If anyone has suggestions you can post them. Maybe Lode Runner or Pit Pot?

No one can take your place. It is still good for your team if you get into the final tournament because it will be one less person from another team to compete against.

While we're switching games lets change Romance of the Three Kingdoms. You can choose to control all the leaders and make the game no challenge at all. Sorry I didn't remember it until I played it again. I'm not saying I don't trust you guys but it's not worth keeping the game with this option.

I suggest we switch it to Destiny of an Emperor for NES. It's the same storyline about the Three Kingdoms but done in a old school RPG style. Much more fun for everyone and still takes effort to beat.
Of course I'll understand if you wanna just scrap it and keep going or let someone else pick a new one. Sorry again for not realizing this before we started.

@DB: I think we can trust people not to do that. The same cheesey tactic could be used in Street Fighter but I trust no one would.

@Kong: GOM had a replacement game if one of our two were unacceptable if you wish to go back and check; Clu Clu Land.

You have/had: The first week while we were picking games. This week while we are signing up for the tournaments. And about two weeks during the first round of the tournaments.

SF is a bonus game. Only one person from each team needs to beat each bonus game. So you would need to ask your team if some has already done it. If your question is can you do the bonus game in addition to the tournament game then the answer is yes.

If possible, Grumpy Old Men would stick with their Clu-clu Land selection.
As has been noted, our original debate was between Digger and Clu-clu.

Also, for some reason, I thought that the Digger T. Rock score would be calculated based on DEPTH, not points. After all, you can't farm depth. Just a thought.

Since it is so late in the process I would count GOM's vote to change the game as a half vote.

But depth seems like a good way to keep score. Anyone have a problem with keeping it Digger and counting the depth?

It's solely my fault. When one of our members recommended the game in our thread I didn't catch it. I had originally assumed we were judging by depth as well. It did not even occur to me that there was an actual score and it was farmable. I did not bother to double check the game beforehand.

If anyone should have known better, I should have.

Digger will use the depth as a score.

I have started all of the tournaments. Everyone should have received a PM with a link.

You have one week to submit the first 5 scores for the first round. And one week for the next round. If you do not need all five scores then submit a zero for the remaining scores so we can speed along.

I submitted a score but it froze up. After closing my browser and reopening RU it says I scored 0. I think it lagged or something.
Can't do anything about, just thought I'd mention it.

I got a message saying someone beat my Granada highscore.... Is that the set score already or one of the scores that I submited in the tournament? Speaking of which.... DAMN!!! Just submitted what would've been my best score..... without using the link. Also the player who "beat" my highscore was in the tournament and must've used the tournament link to play. I'm just wondering if it beat my highscore or my tournament's highest score?

Its fine, but if someone does post a higher score in the tournament will I still get a message and/or if so then if i post a score higher in the tournament then the one he posted in the tournament will he/she still get a message?
