Daze Before Christmas - December 2010
Retro Uprising - Arcade - Daze Before Christmas for SNES.
Released by Sunsoft in 1994, Daze Before Christmas is one of the few Christmas themed games to ever see commercial release. In the game, you control Santa Claus as he races to save Christmas from an evil snowman who has imprisoned Santa's elves and captured Santa's reindeer. You can collect a power-up that makes him shoot flames which melt ice. Santa's magic can also be used to open the Christmas presents scattered around the levels. These presents may contain enemies, power-ups or bombs. Santa's energy level is represented by Santa hats. The game's most remarkable feature is Santa's ability to turn into his evil twin, "Anti-Claus". By drinking a cup of coffee, Santa transforms into a blue-suited, devilish looking version of himself. As Anti-Claus, Santa is invincible, but unable to use his magic or collect gifts. His primary method of attack is swinging his sack of toys at enemies. In a break between platform levels, at several points in the game, Santa flies in his sleigh and uses the presents he collects to drop them down chimneys in several locations around the world. Master Daze Before Christmas for 24 Game Club points. This is an example of the ending screen you need to submit on for Mastering credit. You may submit on any screen that comes after this one: http://i648.photobucket.com/albums/u...ristmasEnd.gif Play - Retro Uprising - Arcade - Daze Before Christmas and select ArcadeOX Score Mode to receive credit for mastering this game. ---------- Post added 12-05-2010 at 12:28 AM ---------- Previous post was 11-30-2010 at 08:43 PM ---------- Daze Before Christmas completed:

Beat this, One suggestion for you kids...and us adults. Normally during a platformer, you don't need to use the "Look" feature which means holding down to move your screen down to look beyond your view. Your not limited time wise, so make sure you are sure that ALL of your blind jumps are actually blind, because most times using this feature can save your lives and your behind, making this game a tad easier to complete. Slow and steady wins this game, not speed.

Completed, normal like difficulty, but the multiple finding of lives kill the challenge factor of the game o.o |

For a second I thought that was a mounted reindeer head above his chair. This game looks less interesting now that I see it in context.
