heres my quick review of cosmic avenger
cosmic avenger is not a good game, its average at best.
the good:
ship is responsive, and its pretty easy to master the ins and outs overall
the trajectory of your missile being based on the speed of your ship is a nice feature, getting a little speed and hitting your target is a nice feeling
the bad:
objects are barely recognizable
9 times outta 10 you die from what essentially is an insta-hit
sounds are nasty, but not too bad considering the time it was released
ships is too slow overall
the ugly:
did the color palette need to be selected by rupaul?

I haven't had it in the exact center just on the very bottom of the screen. Wish I could be more help.

No problem man. I think it has to be my PC because I had my brother check it out on his computer too, and it works for him. I did exactly the same thing he did and it doesn't work on my PC for some reason. I was testing it to see if it would work, so I could possibly accept your challenge, but I don't think I can if I can only shoot a total of 6 bullets.

I can't speak for anyone else, but it wouldn't have for me except that I can't get Lethal Enforcers to work. The gun won't re-load, so I can't accept the challenge. The way the contest works is the queue is stuck until someone accepts LE to get things moving again.

I don't think we are allowed to skip challenges. I agree with this in general, as it prevents individuals from picking and choosing games they like.

If I could get LE to work, I would consider doing this one myself, but it just won't work. I even tested the game on someone else's computer (who is not on RU) and the re-load works fine. The problem with that PC is that the FPS can not quite get to 90%, and based on the current FPS rules, this wouldn't be allowed either.

After giving it a try, the reload only works one out of every three times. Meaning I have to wiggle the rectacle back and forth at the bottom of the screen and mash the fire button and wait for it to decide it wants to reload.

And WB, Score Mode plays faster than Full Mode. You might be able to get full speed on your friend's PC.

I tried, and I could only get it to about 84%-86% FPS. Oh well, I guess that puts me out of this challenge.

That's up to Lestat. I would accept the challenge, but I can't since it won't work on my computer. Tenser seems to be having problems with it too. No one else seems to be willing to step up either. I don't know if they're waiting it out hoping someone else will take it, or if they are having problems as well. I want to keep the contest moving, but unfortunately I can't since the game won't work. Until someone takes it or Lestat withdraws it, the contest is at a standstill.

I may have misunderstood, but isn't the rule that there can't be any scores at the time the challenge is issued? Technically, that was the case. Scores can any set at any time, but if there are no others when the challenge is issued, shouldn't that be the case?

I thought that T, but fair's fair. This situation may come up later in the contest as well, and we can't disqualify every entry is another score comes in prior to the challenge being accepted. If Lestat wanted to withdraw the challenge that would be acceptable I think, but if he wants to keep it in, then someone who can get it to work will have to accept it eventually unless there is some other contingency I don't see.
