Re: Defenders of the Crown
As as aside, I noticed the Winnebagel badge is spelled, "Winn iebagel". Not a big deal, but if someone wins the badge, I want to make sure they knew who it was from.

I thought that too. However, that brings up an interesting question, what purpose would one of us have to issue a challenge, if (theoretically) we have a full set of badges?
Maybe won challenges should count towards the overall record as well as defenses. That would make things more interesting in the long haul, and encourage us to keep things more active since there would be two ways to score.

Good point. But should those points only count if you have a full set of badges. It would also be cool if someone beats us twice they get knotches, or slashes of some sort. Someone beats us 2x+ they would be a 2nd degree Kong master, 4th degree Dojah master etc... If that makes sence.

That's an interesting idea too. I don't know how many badges Kong would want to dole out in regards to each of us, but who knows.
Kong, do you have any thoughts on this? Would it be easier to keep track of via the +/- system for challenges and defenses, or would additional badges be a good idea?

I just have one response to that...

It might be simpler in the long run if both defenses and challenges count towards your overall score. Multiple badges may be hard to keep track of.

nice one gg lol,
im more worried that the bages are going to be flying off the shelves like hot cakes, it doesnt matter how good you are a gamer, if someones a grand master of a game, 24 hours isnt enough to catch up.

Re: Defenders of the Crown
For the "+/-" the first number is how many times you successfully defended a score and the second is how many badges you have given out. It only counts win/loses as defenders, not challengers.
New rule. Defenders, if you have already lost a badge to a challenger in a previous round then you can not accept a new challenge from that person. That way a challenger can get two different badges instead of two of the same.
I gave out all of the won badges so far.

You defended Airwolf +1 and lost Mortal Kombat -1 and challenged with Arkanoid which doesn't count.

+ 1
@Kong: am I allowed to reserve for my week off? Cuz I'm just starting my work week and I'm afraid a score might be taken.

Re: Defenders of the Crown
You can post your game and scores now. Once it comes up in the queue the defender and you will have 24 more hours. You can't post your game now and say that the defender can't play for one week.
So if you have time to get a score in before your work week then go for it. If not then best to risk waiting.

Not sure. All I can tell you is there would be at least 3 people ahead of you in the queue.

That's fair.
I was counting wrong too because I defended once (Blue's Journey) and lost once (Arkanoid).

That's definitely the risk of this type of contest. I went into Arkanoid expecting to lose, but I thought I would try any way. I know there will be some games like that where we or someone else challenge in a game we are good at (i.e. Arkanoid, Mega Man: Power Battle, or my Mortal Kombat), but there should still be a lot that many of us haven't played much.
I like Kong's rule of only being able to challenge each person once, as this will force everyone to branch out and try things they may not have otherwise.

Kong,
I was considering accepting the Cosmic Avenger challenge but I am getting an "Error: Game Will Not Load" message on the full mode and score mode links.

I tested it and it works for me too. Doesn't Kong have a cool link to reset games? Maybe that would help.

I'm removing Toads. I forgot that it only shows the high score between levels. That could be annoying.

Re: Defenders of the Crown
@Tenser, I had planned to accept your challenge yesterday, but by the time I finally got the link working it was to late for me to begin playing last night. I would be willing to take on Cosmic Avenger, but I wouldn't be available to start until tomorrow night. If someone else wants to accept your challenge before then that's cool.
